Descripción del puesto
- Lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are achieved.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, operational efficiency, and cost management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including production output, quality, waste, downtime, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate production, maintenance, quality, and supply chain activities to ensure operational continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean Manufacturing and other operational excellence methodologies.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to strengthen performance, accountability, and collaboration.
- Manage operational budgets and identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize waste.
- Ensure efficient utilization of equipment, materials, and human resources.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in manufacturing operations management, preferably in the plastics, packaging, or PET industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and driving operational performance.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, OEE, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
- Strong analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills.
